We will be able to have Jazz band on Monday!!! Yea, So I'll see you on Monday and Thursday this week!

Next test 8th and 9th Grade - "Silvercrest!"

So here are the test spots for "Silvercrest" for each section.


Flute, Clarinet and Oboe - mm. 85 - the first ending only

Alto Cl. 101 - First ending

Alto Sax - Beginning - the first ending

Trumpet - mm. 85 - the first ending only

Fr. Horn - Beginning - the first ending only

Tenor Sax, Baritone Sax, Trombone, Baritone, and Tuba - Last 15 measures (at the start of the second ending)

Percussion -

Mallets - mm. 68 - 85

Tympani - Beginning - the first ending only

Snare - mm 101 - the first ending only

Bass drum - Beginning - the first ending

Cymbals - Beginning - the first ending

Some new things...

1. The new listening assignment is up. www.listeningassignments.blogspot.com

2. 7th grade full band rehearsal is Monday Dec. 8th starting at 2:10 pm in the band room and will go until the late busses at 3:40. The concert is in the South Gym at NVJH at 7:00, on Dec. 9th. Students will need to arrive in the band room by 6:30.

3. 8th and 9th grade band will need to arrive at PCHS at 6:45 in order to rehearse with the BJH and PCHS Bands before we go on stage to present our portion of the concert.
